Nothing in this world truly belongs to us

The matter that the mind may reject, that there is nothing in this world that belongs to us, may not always be denied, because the rejection of the mind is not compulsory. If it is a natural truth, however, whenever the mind perceives the reality of all sufferings in samsara, it may realize that it is not true and that nothing belongs to us. What can the mind hold onto, as it has perceived the suffering and danger in holding onto everything? Without any doubt or hesitation, in the Dharma, The mind immediately rejects it and laments the attachment. In truth, In this world nothing truly belongs to us. This is an intelligent mind that can see clearly in the open-mindedness. There is nothing in the three realms that can conceal the vortex of this spiritual wisdom. Even if the mind contemplates the Dharma in the past, it sees the Dharma in the past. If the mind contemplates the Dharma in the future, it sees the Dharma in the future. This is because there is now an abundance of Dharma available. Looking at the past and the future is not a problem that would cause doubt because the nature of the truth is present, arising and ceasing, just like existence in the present moment. Therefore, seeing the Dharma in the present is important and is a means of making accurate judgments. This is comprehensive knowledge that everything in samsara should not be held onto. If one sees that the Dharma is true in this way, there is nothing that can force the mind to hold onto it, just as one sees fire as hot, a poisonous snake is poisonous, a tiger as a tiger, a crocodile as a crocodile, knowing that dung is filthy. Who would bother to associate with these things? The path to escape from these things, one will see the way to escape on their own when the mind has wisdom. When the mind has clarity in seeing, these two knowledge and insights come together at once. Intelligence and sharpness arise immediately within the mind. If considered in any category of Dharma, one will clearly see the truth in that category, and be free from doubt in that category of Dharma by oneself, without having to ask anyone else. This is the insight according to reality. Therefore, the mind can reject that in this world, there is nothing that belongs to us, not even a little bit.

Many have inquired about the event "Goddess Guanyin's Day of Opening the Treasure Vault," wondering if it is true and how it unfolds. Currently, there is a widespread trend of seeking blessings and wealth from the Goddess Guanyin.

The day of Goddess Guanyin's opening of the treasure vault is a belief rooted in legend, said to originate from compassion and faith in Goddess Guanyin. This practice serves as a spiritual refuge and a means to attain prosperity, aiming to alleviate suffering for those in need. Additionally, the accumulated blessings are utilized in appropriate ways. Worshipping on this day is particularly popular among the Chinese and Hong Kong people, with a significant number flocking to the temples of Goddess Guanyin.

In reality, if one already has faith in Goddess Guanyin, they can seek blessings anywhere by placing incense in front of an image or statue of the goddess. The specific day for "Goddess Guanyin's Day of Opening the Treasure Vault" this year falls on March 6, 2567, according to the Chinese lunar calendar, counting 26 days from the Chinese New Year or the Lantern Festival. The calculation may vary based on the Chinese lunisolar calendar and may not be consistent every year. Some communities begin worshipping on the 5th of March, starting from 11:00 PM (Chinese time) and continuing until the night of March 6, 2567.

Various methods and rituals exist for seeking blessings and wealth, depending on the guidance of different masters. For example, offerings may include five oranges, raised bowl cakes, a red envelope with money as a gift placed on the oranges, a red candle, and paper prayers. Afterward, devotees recite prayers to request blessings from Goddess Guanyin, asking for financial success and prosperity in their business endeavors. Some rituals involve using the money from the red envelope as an investment, while others keep it as a symbolic gift. In some practices, powdered incense is placed in the red envelope and circulated around the incense burner three times.

For those who are unsure which temple to visit for worship, it is recommended to visit Wat Khao Bang Phra in Sri Racha, Chonburi, Thailand throughout the day. This is to ensure auspiciousness for oneself and one's family.

May the blessings of Goddess Guanyin be bestowed upon everyone, bringing great wealth and fulfilling all desires. Wishing you good health and prosperity.
